"Pretty In Pink - Self Portrait"

I mean, when you have pink hair you just can't help but to be inpired to create a brightly colored self portrait. Right? My original reason for creating this peice was to add it to my new website. But I also wanted to show that I could create portraits in fiber.

This piece incorporates wet, nuno, and needle felting with wool, silk, bamboo, angelina, and viscose fibers. Art yarn and mohair locks were needle felted for the hair. I finished this piece off by embellishing with glass beads.
